Charlotte Talbot-Mauloubier is a ceramicist based in Brittany. Trained as an industrial designer, she chose in 2016 to spend less time in front of a screen and more time working with clay. Stoneware became her primary medium, valued for its adaptability and durability. In her studio, each piece is slab-built, one at a time, at a pace that allows attention and precision. Patterns are drawn directly onto the fired clay, slowly, leaving room for experimentation. Slowness is not a principle, it is a working condition.
