Capsule Collections

Each year I work on one or two capsule collections. It is my way to experiment and create outside of the comfortable repetitive nature of my BASICS collections. These collections are unique, one shot and will not be reproduced in the future.

SUPER SUPER, 2023

I had fun mixing tinted clay and creating uncontrollable patterns. The stickers on top were created by Marie Priour and applied on top of the transparent glaze. It is a mega, ultra, giga, super cool collection right?

Collage, 2022

In July 2022 I presented my work @lartdefaire and for the occasion I created a special collection in porcelain with hand painted patterns & decals. I liked mixing the computer made patterns and elements with the imperfect painted elements on white porcelain.⁠
⁠These products need 3 firings as the decals need to be applied on top of the glaze and fired another time to merge into the surface and be food and dishwasher safe.

Maybe it was the cold winter in my Atelier, or the snow that we have experiment that year (quite rare where I live) but I created this glaze and I applied in on everything!
