Hand Building
I am hand building all my production with slabs - which means that after imagining and drawing the pieces, I am creating stencils to help replicate the shapes on slabs of clay.

I am using this wonderful tool called "Croûteuse" in French. It produces slabs with equal thickness. You don't necessarily need a tool like that, some wooden rods for the thickness and a good pastry roller will do the trick.

EN / When the clay is at its correct consistency, called leather stage, I can prepare it to assemble the parts together.
FR / Quand la terre a atteint la bonne consistence appelée cuir, je peux préparer chaque partie pour ensuite les assembler

I am also using some plaster mold to create my bowls and everything plates. Slabs are drapped into the shapes.

On Instagram I am sharing a lot of my process by creating videos.
